When somebody asked me there's a documentary coming out about me in the next few weeks, uh, I believe it's called the greatest of all time and uh, they asked me to describe my mantra, my whatever in one word, I thought about I thought about it. And then I said, selfish, the difference between me and this meathead, this meathead. And this meathead is that I'm more selfish.
And you vicariously because I have to live through you vicariously. You are the benefactors of my selfishness because I want. You to put numbers on the board, I'll bet you a million dollars right now that at least one of you forgets to turn your mic on tomorrow, I'll, make it 100 100, 100 million to one penny. At least one of you is going to forget to turn your mic on tonight, any takers, even though I'm making a big deal about it.
Why would you still forget to turn the mic on? Because you're , stupid, there's. A reason why you're poor there's a reason why your parents were poor there's, a reason, why your grandparents. We're poor, you have poor jeans and poor rubs off. I told sally the other day, you know now that we're in the pavilion can't, we just have the seminar, and I'll, send them a link. And they just send the money. I don't have to see anybody, and I would do that.
But then you would take the link, and we'd sell it online. You piece of , we're already going to court with people that have been here, three or four or five years ago and failed, and they're trying to sell their gigs. And people are paying. Money for the gigs five-year-old gigs, and those five-year-old gigs are worthless, and we can track you're going to get a gig thing, and we can crack. And we have a reverse engineer, some and we'll know, we know that you sold it. And then when I see when I take your mother's house away from you from her and your mother, and we're burning the furniture in the front lawn, but peter, what did I do wrong?
I don't know, mom, but I sold that . I didn't know if maria was going to come after us, I didn't. Know he was going to kill our cats and goldfish high performance. People are vengeful. There was a reason why we had boxing in this thing, because when you get frustrated and pissed off that you wasted, your whole life. You want to hit somebody and right back there.
It used to be the boxing ring. It was a hoot for those of you that watched it on video. Furthermore, it was a hoot. If you know, I'm, not saying, everybody, remember not everybody in this room is going to make it. If you attempt LA you'll, be. Better off than you were before you got here, if you have some sales skills, not great sales skills because I mean, look at him is there anything?
Great about him? No, okay, but you don't have to have any sales. Josh Kim's got not one , sales skill in his body. But he actually learned and believed the last slide you're going to see the last day is k-n-o-w. No knowing when to say, no that's, the last slide of the seminar, Steve Jobs said, say, no to a thousand things before he died that's how he got. Started, I've said, no to , 10 million things, but you're afraid because you still want to be liked at some level. And I know, and I blame your parents who else am I going to blame it's, not a fault it's, not their fault.
Now I have had kids to hear their parents went out of their way to about. I mean, really chain them to like a dog outside and like we've had those too. But I don't remember any of your descriptions that you were chained to had to live outside chained to a tree, if I missed this, because I read all your paperwork, but we have had parents little kids where their parents did go out of the ring. And he was chained to a tree because his daddy was chained to a tree sound familiar. Most child abuse, sexual abuse is because their parents were abused.
But I mean it, you know, you're doing something wrong, just as money's, not everything, but it's. The only thing anybody keeps track of when I was the age of no a little younger than most of the kids in this room. All I thought about was getting laid I'm guessing, the Beatles, the rock stars, didn't get laid more than I did because that's, all I thought about, I was focused one million percent on getting my willy wet, and guess what I did.
And then I transferred that obsession that OCD to making money and guess what I'm a ton of money. And then I've transferred that which was a mistake to me his of the several things in my life. I'd never do again and coaching is one of them it's, a thankless job.
Because you're all worthless pieces of . I was led to believe growing up that self-esteem. Everybody had well been I wrong. I was belt. I was raised right if you didn't have self-confidence.
You didn't live past 15 years old. Boy was I wrong. You all know of you earlier. This evening, I talked to one of my Hall of Famers about a completely different subject. And I realized that he had made six more a billion dollars since the last time I talked with a b, he's, 45., it's, 45 years old, one of. The for you to get over the LA hump, the first hump speed bump is that especially for the old farts in the room, and they're to you to me, you're all young.
But I mean for the older guys in the room you have to, uh, you have to come to a realization. You wasted your life. You pissed it down a rathole. When you get over that too lazy, we had a kid who said, uh, the seminar was less money in those days, 20 grand. And he said, how many times am I going to get my 20 grand back that? You know, return on. Investment, I never thought of it that way .
How many is a billion on 20 grand? I don't know. So I started thinking about some of the guys I said, I don't know, you know way more times than you're going to pay for the symbol. Seven months later, he had 70 million bucks New York city, 70 million seven actually exactly we're rounded up eight months when sally. And I went to have a drink with him in New York city, uh, we're. Staying at the uh. I can't think of the name.
Anyway, remember the movie back to the. Future when he floated on a skateboard, remember that sally said is that, uh, Roberto, he says, he's floating in he's, not it doesn't look like he's, walking he floated in like Jesus with a smile, this big, and he's. The one that asked me, how many times am I going to get my 20 grand back that's, not that's, not how I look at the return on investment, how you know how am I going to make your life and all the lives you touch and Bruce Whipple and some other guys and rightfully. So I never. Looked at it this way I changed Brian rose's life for the good of the bad he's got six or eight million followers. Dan OK for the good of the bad he's got. I don't know how many million followers.
So I have touched the lives of these other , which I don't really give a about that's. The difference they say they give a about them, whether they do or not I'm, not saying, Dan's lying I'm, not saying, Brian rose's line, I'm not saying Bruce Whipple's line, but they lead you to believe they. Care, right, I tell you flat out, I don't care. And the reason why I'm hard on the seminar is because it works, why would I change the model when I've created more than a trillion bugs? Why? Because I want you to like me? I don't think.
So I acted this way when I didn't create any money through you meatheads, the cybersecurity firms, and I can only speak for the United States for sure were selling that, um, not, not on the public market. They were selling at between like 15 and 16 18 times even up cash flow. Okay, okay before corona, yeah, I know the market pinhead, and now they're, uh, 50 less. Now you may not be good enough salesmen to convince them that they're 50 less. I put on my website. Anybody that bought a business in 2019 it's worth between 25 and 50 less in this was April of this year. And I can I can show you the seller potential seller.
I can prove it to them.
