You now this is for those that find a bunch of oil inside your air intake tube, I've already cleaned, if I went in went ahead and bought a can of throttle body cleaner at autozone and I. Just pretty much spread it all out cleaned it all out used a rag and got most of the oil on the gunk that was just in here. Now, there's some research I found that the reason that you're getting oil into your air intake tube is because this PVC and this where this line plugs into it's, pretty much a little. Tube and I, went ahead and order them. So that I can replace them pretty much clogged up, and we'll need to get replaced I'm placing a PVC valve, and that line that's behind the motor that also uses an oil line. So those two are okay, took a little force, but just pretty much just pull it out. And here you can start seeing the oil.
And the only other comes out of the line. So put that to the side and here's, the new one we'll be replacing it for and again, that's the part number, and before I do that. I'm just going to go ahead and clean around the tube and all that and also go ahead and get yourself a can of throttle body cleaner so that you can clean the inside of this tube. And once you go ahead and clean, if we'll, go ahead and put this back together and work on that.
Second one. And when you're cleaning when you're going to go ahead and clean the little tube, make sure you buy yourself, a can of throttle body air intake, cleaner, that's, it's, a grease gunk out of the way. But you want to just go ahead. And spray that line that little tube that connected to your PCV line or a piece of you values, this will plate.
So you want to clean make sure this is clean along with cleaning. The PCV tube, make sure you clean the little elbow as well. So go ahead and grab your throttle body. Air intake, steamer and go ahead and give it a couple sprays and should get some of that oil that might still be in their out.
Now, when you're going to go ahead and remove the second, the second line, there's, a small little lever. And what you want to do is pull that little lever towards you. And once you pull it towards you, and you can kind of feel a little lever, but once you pull it towards you, you pull up, and that should get the tube out of the breather this little breather a line. So you can right away start seeing this a bunch of oil on that little breather line.
So I'm going to go ahead and remove that breather line just pull. It straight out might need a pair of pliers to do that all right. And once you pop it out how to. Use the pliers to pump it out. But once you pop it out, you notice that this is where the problem is that it's just a bunch of dried up gunk oil built up, and it just doesn't let the breather PCV system just work the way it should so not a problem again, all we're going to do is go in and replace it for this new one, v5, 18 and just work your way backwards. Let's, go ahead and just put it in once you put it in put on your line, and that should take care of your soccer year this to be a issue. So it's.
Going to put it in okay, so that's that little clip that you want to move towards you and pull the line-up to disconnect it now that you've put the new breather tube in the line just pretty much, you just push it straight in, and it'll clip back into the new one. And again, this is where you follow it to make sure you be careful and don't break this line. It gets pretty brittle its plastic. Here is your new p.c, be also breather in place. Next you want to go ahead and clean the tube that you pulled out. From here, and if you haven't done that go ahead and clean it. And if you've cleaned it just get it ready so that you can put the put your air box back into place, you can install your air intake tube.
So go ahead and make sure that the nipple here is pointing up, and we're going to go ahead and start from this side. Go ahead and tighten up with clamps. Pretty good.
Go ahead and go ahead and slide the little elbow into your PCV valve position it up so that you can go ahead and install your clean line. Okay, you'll hear that little clip on this side and just make sure you give this side up squeeze I'll, make sure you don't get any oil into your air intake, housing anymore. Once you go ahead and replace the PCV valve and breather valve on the end all right that pretty much wraps it up. Thanks guys.
